Viridien has significantly expanded its seismic data library on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) by completing three ocean bottom node (OBN) surveys in the Southern Viking Graben. These have been seamlessly merged to form the OMEGA Merge—a unified dataset representing the largest contiguous 3D OBN volume on the NCS. This integration supports advanced subsurface imaging and future exploration initiatives.

Viridien's Laconia sparse OBN survey covers approximately 11,180 q km, with data being acquired with the Sercel TPS (Tuned Pulsed Source). Coupled with Viridien’s advanced imaging expertise and industry-leading HPC, the project will maximize the uplift for subsalt imaging and reservoir delineation.
