Paris, France | Nov 13, 2025
Viridien, an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company, has been selected by Snowfox Discovery Ltd, an industry leader in natural hydrogen exploration, to deliver advanced subsurface imaging, geophysical data analysis, and earth science to accelerate its hydrogen discovery.
Under this agreement, Snowfox will have preferred access to Viridien’s sector-leading multiphysics imaging expertise to accelerate its natural hydrogen exploration globally, positioning the company at the forefront of a rapidly emerging energy sector.
"This agreement with Viridien marks an important step forward for Snowfox,” said Dan McMahon, CEO of Snowfox Discovery. "By securing preferred access in the field of natural hydrogen, we are reinforcing our position as the technology leader in this new frontier of energy exploration. Viridien’s cutting-edge expertise, combined with our best-in-class technologies and workflows, provides us with differentiating capabilities to accelerate discovery and development of natural hydrogen resources, which we believe could play a critical role in the global energy transition."
“Our collaboration with Snowfox demonstrates a strong commitment to bring the most advanced technologies to new forms of exploration." said Peter Whiting, EVP Geoscience, Viridien. “For natural hydrogen, our advanced imaging technology, Earth data, and geoscience expertise will accelerate the global effort to discover this promising new form of energy. We look forward to collaborating with Snowfox and leading the way to faster, more accurate identification of significant natural hydrogen prospects.”
This collaboration builds on the momentum of the recent oversubscribed $30M Series A investment (Snowfox Discovery Series A Announcement) backed by bp Ventures, Oxford Science Enterprises, The Bamford Family, Rio Tinto Ventures, AP Ventures and Oxford Capital Partners. Viridien and Snowfox will progress with joint technical programs designed to identify, evaluate, and de-risk natural hydrogen prospects in key global basins.
