Accelerating Petrophysics: An automated workflow for efficient curve compositing and interpretation
Data Hub Deep Dives
Join us for an immersive exploration into the latest advancements in automating petrophysics processes. Using an example from Brazil's Pre-Salt region, witness how the combination of data science and subject-matter expertise enables efficient and consistent composition and interpretation of large volumes of curve data.
From source DLIS files to interpreted results displayed on intuitive dashboards, uncover how our Data Hub group tackle data challenges, drive geoscience insights and improve business decisions.
What to expect:
- A real case study on novel semi-automated and automated petrophysics from Brazil's Pre-Salt.
- Presentations and guidance from our experts covering all aspects, from the creation of DLIS curve inventories, curve composition and petrophysical interpretation to the development of automated petrophysical data pipelines.
- Perspectives on the value of integrating large volumes of databased calibration data for petrophysical interpretation.
Part of the broader GeoWells dataset, learn how these petrophysical datasets are calibrated by thousands of collated input data points and then once generated, combine to form an extensive, accessible database covering thousands of wells.
Attendees will discover innovative methods for locating, extracting, compositing and interpreting log curve data within a semi-automated to automated pipeline, ensuring minimized user bias, consistent quality, faster turnaround and increased throughput.
