Meet Our Experts
Chris Anderson
Chris is Director of Sub-Saharan Africa for Earth Data. A 30-year veteran of the geophysical exploration sector, Chris has worked offshore in seismic acquisition and on-board processing before moving into the multi-client seismic business, where he has developed projects and lead business groups in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa for various global companies. Chris has also worked to promote and commercialize new technologies and is always interested in finding new and better solutions to improve exploration outcomes.
Luke Davey
Luke is the Director of North-West Europe for Earth Data. He joined CGG in 2014 and has worked on multi-client projects in Africa and Europe, and now leads the North-West Europe region.
Luke previously worked for C&C Technologies, a company specializing in Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) surveys for the O&G industry. He led projects focused on deep-water site surveys across Africa & Asia and worked on notable developments such as Jubilee (Ghana). He holds an MSc in Engineering Project Management from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
Hari Krishna
Hari is Technical Business Development Manager for Earth Data in the EAMEK region. He develops solutions for geophysical challenges, leveraging technology to build new projects and provide geophysical analysis to evaluate opportunities across the region. He joined CGG in 2005 as a seismic processing Geophysicist, subsequently working in marine seismic acquisition and moving to the multi-client Earth Data team in 2014 as a technical project manager for the Eastern Hemisphere. He holds an MSc in Marine Geophysics from Cochin University, India and is currently undertaking an Executive MBA with the University of Warwick.
Emmanuel Nformi
Emmanuel is Business Development Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa for Earth Data. He is a geoscientist by training and an explorer at heart. He spent his early career in New Ventures working for an operator exploring the African Atlantic Margin from Mauritania to Cameroon. His passion for exploration continued with CGG, working on projects in Africa, the Caribbean, and South America. He now focuses on engaging African governments in the sustainable exploration of energy resources in Cote D’Ivoire, Gabon, Mauritania, Cameroon, and Namibia, amongst others.
